I realize that so far I've mostly been posting infographics but here's another cool one.
One of the most exciting trends out there to me is the Google's move towards mobile because what it does is takes google's collection of global information and connects back to local businesses. I think that what this will eventually mean is that with Google, small local businesses will be empowered to compete against the likes of Amazon and Ebay again because if local search results show up right next to your global ones many people will pick the local option.
Basically I think your shopping choice stratifications will change again. Let's say I want to buy a toaster. Currently, my choices are realistically 1) Amazon, 2) Target, 3) Costco.. But what a mom and pop toaster shop? or buying my neighbors old perfectly good toaster??? Well imagine if a google search would not only yield Amazon, Target, Costco results but also my neighbor or the mom and pop shop down the street.
Google will soon be powerful enough to manage a virtual inventory just like amazon's but with location data included.
Good infographic about Infrastructure investment that agrees with one of my general sentiments that we need more engineers in this country to build some more stuff.

I just started reading the Games of Thrones series on my Kindle and I've found this infographic of all the character relationships really useful. George R.R. Martin has been called the modern American Tolkien by Time magazine. I'm not quite calling the Martin series as good as the Lord of the Rings quite yet but it's pretty good.
In general it feels to be reading some fiction again instead of all business books.
I'm definitely gonna miss Boulder, but I suppose I'm only moving half an hour away so it's not like I'm leaving leaving. Plus I moved to a place in Lakewood that will hopefully provide many of the same loved attributes... mountain biking and hiking at my doorstep.. views of the hills and spectacular storm clouds rolling over the front range.
My new spot in Lakewood also has some advantages. The most notable of which being as follows: 1100 sqft, vaulted ceilings, 5 piece master bath, storage closet, 3 rooms and a balcony with mountain views... pool, gym, ect.. 10 minutes from red rocks, and 25 minutes from downtown denver.
Looking forward to having some Red Rocks parties at my place!
